Develop a Master Planning Schedule a part of the Sales and Operations Planning must be able to develop different models for the various types of work involved. Release testing biocompatibility.
Integrate and perform analysis of historical data incoming orders quoting (acceptance rate) and WIP to develop a clear picture on current and future workload.
1. Person must be able to will interface with departments such as Operations Engineering Technology Accounting Materials and Department Scheduling functions. 2. Gather pertinent data on testing trends by work area and work center and have the ability to cut through the mass of data and simplify. 3. Gather ongoing data from the sales marketing production planning and operations for preparation and release of the Master Schedule. 4. Prepare and release Master Planning Schedules. 5. Develop a forecast and capacity planning model and identify capacity restraints. 6. Develop an implementation plan for a Master Planning Schedule without an ERP system and be the lead in implementing a co-wide ERP system for planning and materials use. 7. Prepare detailed monthly reports against objectives and established performance measurements of the Master Planning Schedule. 8. Work with end users and various departments to insure resource availability. 9. Act as an liaison between sales marketing operations and the customer. 10. Evaluate develop implement and maintain the Master Planning and Scheduling program.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree required APICS Certified (CPIM) preferred. Experienced in Sales and Operations Planning Demand Management Rough Cut Capacity Planning and Master scheduling in a manufacturing service or laboratory environment in a non established ERP/MRP environment. Prior experience in developing and submitting an implementation plan. Prior experience in implementing a Master Planning and Scheduling program. Minimum 2 years experience in Master Planning and Scheduling. Minimum 2 years MRP/ERP experience preferably have been involved in the implementation of a new ERP program. Proficient in Microsoft excel word outlook MS Project LIMS and other technology tools such as Crystal Reports. Travel minimal.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required APICS Certified (CPIM) preferred.
