Dedicated Sales Engineer to consult with external customers including specifying and consulting engineers that interpret customer requirements and provide product application assistance. • Prepare quotations and establish pricing strategies for complete product line. • Provide timely and accurate information to customers on the proper application and installation of Motor Controls. • Develop training materials on product and application technical issues including competitive product analysis. Produce pre-sale literature including application manuals specification sheets and sample specifications. • Development new products and product changes informing design team of customer requirements and installation and application review process. • Assisting with the electrical design of Motor Control. Position reports to President and COO. • Working knowledge of Motor Control. • 50-75 travel necessary typically by airplane Nationally and Internationally Europe Canada China • 5-8 years of related experience designing and applying power products to customer requirements. • 4 years of sales related experience or equivalent customer contact. • Excellent oral technical writing and presentation skills. • General computer software skills including word processing graphics and database. • Understanding of and ability to interpret relevant industry codes and standards. • Ability to plan organize and manage engineering projects to meet customer commitments. • Ability market Program Management for Product Development and Interface with Engineering staff.
• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
