Responsible for developing and maintaining schedules from the forecast safety stock requirements and sales requests for all forecasted production.
1. Under the direction of the Production Planning supervisor uses sales history line rates safety stock and current bookings to determine master schedules for all forecasted products produced. 2. Release schedules to other planners for day-to-day maintenance and upkeep. 3. Monitor top fifty items for dollar value on hand . 4. Provide communications on shortages and miss-schedules to Production and Customer Service. 5. Provide quoting lead times to customer service as needed. 6. Monitor for updating all safety stock levels 7. Maintain planning bills. 8. Manage all inventory adjustments. 9. Resolve non-conforming material with Quality Assurance department. 10. Generating reports for Production Planning Department as needed.
