Identify, develop and close business opportunities developing long-term customer relationships leading proposal development efforts.
Will run with initiatives must be comfortable controlling meetings as soon as they enter a room. Thorough understanding of consultative sales and will be able to build close trusting relationships in all professional and social settings.
Must have a good understanding of current concepts solutions and environments especially in business intelligence data warehousing environments large scale computer systems RDBMS ETL and enterprise Software. * Develop sales strategies and execute account plans in support of goals/objectives. * Work with system engineer in creating and executing proposal development strategies for current and new customers * Develop and present proposals that clearly convey Company needs project approach relevant experience and Company benefits * Understand competitors strengths and weaknesses and effectively articulate company product advantage * Design and deliver POC to potential customers
REQUIREMENTS: * 2+ years quota selling within the technology sector preferably retail/CPG * Minimum of 2+ years experience in database data warehousing or BI space in designated markets. * Recent new business development experience in opening new major accounts CVP and D-level established relationships within the DW or BI community. * Effective negotiation and closing techniques to secure profitable business. * Superior presentation and communication skills * Must be a professional sales person with a proven track record * Must have the desire and experience to be successful * Experience with a formal sales process * Ability to forecast accurately * Possess strong written verbal and presentation skills * Utilize sound business acumen Consistently exceed selling quotas
