The Director of Managed Care will make pricing recommendations and contracting and reimbursement strategy.
Deliver contracting strategy and have a plan for all major accounts and government programs. Develop managed markets and government reimbursement strategy and then delivering the strategy.
Will work closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver the sales targets. The Director of Managed Care should have knowledge to Managed Markets including disease management Union programs etc. to increase market share and sales. • Leadership role in developing pricing reimbursement and contracting strategy • Determine the resources (people and money) necessary to deliver the reimbursement and contracting strategy. • Deliver the reimbursement and contracting strategy in a manner consistent with the commercial policies. • Ensure a holistic approach in building business is in place with key customers including disease management. • Work with Sales Commercial Analysis Legal and Accounting to develop and ensure all programs deliver the objectives and a culture consistent with policies.
Requirements • 5 to 10 years experience in pharmaceutical managed markets account management sales marketing and other commercial activities. • Good relationships and experience with a high percentage of key managed care customers. • Experience developing a pricing reimbursement and contracting strategy. • Track record of both delivering a contracting strategy and improving business results at key managed care customers. • A track record of developing people and building good working relationships across an organization. • A track record of developing and implementing new sales programs/systems
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree Sales or Marketing.
