The Laboratory Manager to manage and direct employees in all sections of the lab in the performance of tests for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Establishes schedules and work assignments. Monitors test results in order to ensure test validity.
Investigates new procedures and implements quality control programs. Patient Physician and Employee Satisfaction is monitored. Position reports to the COO.
Requirements: Five years of hospital lab experience and the minimum of two years in a supervisory/managerial role.
Experience with JCAHO or CAP survey is a must. The lab is budgeted for 10 Medical Technologists and 4 Phlebotomists.
