Introduce and develop a market preference for clients brand products in the residential and commercial construction industries. Increase market share in current segments grow business in new segments through creative aggressive focused initiatives.
Will be the primary liaison with direct (distributors retailers) and indirect (builders architects consultants) customers. Sales Goals.
Other duties include:
• Achieve all sales/profit market penetration product mix and average selling price goals. Territory Management The salesperson can be located in Indiana Cincy or one of the 'Great Lakes' states. • Develop and implement Annual Marketing Plans for residential and commercial construction markets in assigned territory. Incorporate all strategies defined by Marketing Plan. • Direct monitor activities of Distributors recommend changes as required. • Manage activities of product Specialists / agents - ensure focus on products and customer targets. • Ensure high level of product knowledge and selling skills between distributor and retailer sales personnel. • Direct commercial and residential agents in attaining stated goals for territory. • Call on architects to get products specified. Customer Relationships . • Establish maintain effective working relationships with the End-Users/(Homebuilders Architects Consultants and General Contractors) and Direct Customers (Distributors Dealers Co-ops National Accounts) most capable of fueling rapid business growth. BU Planning . • Provide input for Marketing Plans opportunities for growth through products/line extensions new markets and market segments and/or promotion/merchandising strategies. Internal . • Provide accurate territory volume and sales forecasts on an ongoing basis. • Communicate significant/emerging customer trends and competitor activities on an ongoing basis. • Develop positive business relationships with all internal departments (manufacturing customer service credit finance etc. • Manage all activities within approved budget guidelines.
