Maintenance/Facilities/Plant Engineering Manager to provide technical engineering support to the production staff and lead the maintenance activities in the plant. Will also be responsible for overseeing the development justification implementation and management of capital.
Provide technical engineering support for manufacturing and facilities management. Develop implement and manage maintenance and repair projects and initiatives in the plant. Define justify and manage capital projects in the plant Develop and maintain departmental administrative and expense budgets.
Provide design analysis and support to operations Work with cross-functional teams Work on major operations improvement initiatives Perform equipment selection justification and implementation Provide documented training materials and lead hands on training Work on new construction and remodeling activities as needed Perform project development and implementation
Requirements: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering 7+ years experience in plant engineering or project engineering in a production environment. Experience in the chemical industry or a chemical-related industry a must Experience in Project Management and maintenance of batch chemical production. Knowledge of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance (PPM). Knowledge and experience with root cause analysis.
Experience with Manufacturing Improvement Teams Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Reliability Engineering and Quality Engineering, maintenance of production equipment and processes as well as utilities and facilities support. Knowledge of PSM
