Oversee budget for Specialty Care communication programming identify optimal use of resources across portfolio. Develop relationships with external advocacy organizations opinion leaders institutions and key media. Counsel and provide training to staff developing key press materials manage and develop team members.
Identify and execute proactive story and speaking opportunities identify and develop internal and external spokespersons. Requirements: Minimum of 5-10 years experience in increasing responsibility in a public relations agency or corporate communications environment.
Must have experience working in a spokesperson capacity. Working knowledge of the development and execution of all functional aspects of public relations.
Requires exemplary writing verbal and problem-solving skills. Must have an understanding of health care and/or the pharmaceutical industry.
Prior experience at a pharma biotech medical device or on the agency side a real plus. Position requires management of multiple public relations firms and budgetary management.
