Evaluate the results of manufacturing operations using periodic financial and budgetary statements (regularly and systematically) formulating and implementing corrections for observed deviations from expectations and report the same to Group management. 

The controller will develop and manage annual operation and manufacturing budgets must be familiar with union and non-union plant environments. Lead all of the plant accounting and financial functions, develop lead motivate coach and manage direct and indirect reports. 

- Support for the Group business planning process, includes annual budget planning monthly forecasting process interim estimates strategic planning process fixed asset maintenance and cost center reporting.
- Improve the quality of the Controller organization.
- Improve accuracy and completeness of financial information and insure the reliability of product cost and inventory information.
- Review on a monthly basis actual performance against budget and variations from plan. Assist operating management to implement changes as may be required to achieve plan performance. Report as required to Corporate.
- Establish operating procedures consistent within Company policies and objectives and ensure their execution. Insure corporate policies regarding financial management and control are in place and adhered to.

- Ensure that the responsibilities authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood and monitoring performance of subordinates against expectations.
- Establish close working relationship with Corporate.
- Plan direct and/or coordinate reporting and budgeting for manufacturing operations.
- Assist in the preparation of short-term and long-term operational goals plans and expense and capital equipment budgets based on the division goals and growth objectives.
- Provide management with sound and timely reports regarding the current and anticipated state of the business.
- Maintain a sound plan of organization including plans to ensure adequate management development providing for capable management succession and ensuring adequate numbers and qualifications of personnel within Group.
- Interact with the Corporate Tax and Treasury Department as required to insure that accounting and control practices are coordinated with Corporate Tax and Treasury strategy.

Requirements:
Previous experience within operations with a strong record of accomplishment in the management of a large high volume multi-plant facility where there is strong emphasis on cycle time total quality and innovative cell manufacturing.
Strong verbal and written communications skills excellent leadership capabilities and excellent problem identification and solving skills.
Six Sigma training desirable
