Responsible for quality process control and auditing. He/she will work with sales plants executives and customers. Work with liability claims.
Direct the activities surrounding the design and installation of systems related to quality customer satisfaction audits and problem solving for each business unit. Provide direction to each business unit on matters involving product strength performance and product liability. Monitor and report on Quality all over the country. -Direct the development and implementation of improvements to ISO9000 certified plus associated databases providing continuous improvement. -Direct the activities surrounding the design and installation of systems related to quality customer satisfaction and problem solving for each business unit. -Provide direction and advice to each business unit on matters involving product strength and performance including product liability manufacturing and testing technical support and customer service. -Work with Sales and the Business Unit teams to analyze discuss and approve customer specifications. -Respond to various requests from Customers Sales Technical Service and Plants.
REQUIREMENTS: -Experience in heavy manufacturing and at least 10 years quality management systems (ISO 9000:2015 or similar). -Must be willing to travel approximately 30% including domestic and international. -Must have strong planning and leadership skills. -Must have excellent presentation interpersonal and communication skills. -Computer literacy skills including Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel. -Should be at a Director level or higher.
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Math, Engineering or related technical discipline. MBA is a plus.
