The CRNA will be responsible for the providing anesthesiology to patients and administering a variety of anesthesiology services. Assesses infant pediatric adult and geriatric patients plans anesthesia and administers or assists in administration of anesthesia or analgesia.
Plans patient care based upon pre-anesthesia evaluation and implements a planned anesthesia technique which may include general regional and local anesthesia and IV sedation.
Also evaluates patient status during anesthesia and post operatively.
The person will perform CRNA duties to a wide range of patients in support of surgeries in GYN Orthopedics General Surgery ENT Urology and Podiatry. No Open Heart cases.
The CRNA's will cover OB and start epidurals and then follow up will be provided by the OB Doctors.
Initially the CRNA will be on call every 4th day but this should go to every 5th after this position is hired.
The completion of a CRNA course and certification as a CRNA combined with at least 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA is preferred.
