Responsibilities include some or all of the following: Part of Credit Risk Management this organization is responsible for helping to ensure governance and quality of analytics enterprise-wide. This position will be responsible for two kinds of work: Statistical Practice Development: Develop understanding of the statistical needs design develop and deploy systematic improvements across the organization.
This work will require being a technical consultant to over 100 statisticians build answers to both their stated and actual needs. Solutions must be technically solid yet work within the many constraints of the current business. Develop on-going technical training programs that ensure the continued technical excellence of our statisticians. Project delivery: Identify specific changes required in company practice define project execute.
Required: Masters degree (PhD preferred) in Statistics Analytics Economics Engineering Marketing Excellent teaching skills and extensive experience in leading change in complex business environments Planning and managing the activities of 12-40 statisticians on analytically intensive engagements as well as teaming with clients and fellow managers to form actionable strategies around the analytic results. Classic statistical material (for example linear models logistic regression hypothesis testing sampling) Passion for leading teams of statisticians - motivating and developing top talent public speaker Ability to create and lead complex projects Excellent upward mobility compensation and full relocation.
