Development of long term supply contracts with key suppliers Provide leadership and direction to a team of procurement professionals. Deliver results across multiple product groups. Effectively lead and facilitate cross-functional teams through the procurement process ensuring timely and successful execution to support program/project-sourcing requirements.
Define sourcing strategies for various commodities, demonstrate effective management skills in order to drive results through establishing team and individual goals and expectations development of core competencies and coaching of direct reports
Requirements: Multiple years of experience in direct procurement in related field or industry Additional procurement and or supply chain related experience Familiarity and experience in applying Procurement best practices Requires strong written verbal and negotiation skills coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills Strong problem solving analytical and project management skills. Demonstrated management / leadership skills Must be able to interface effectively with supply base and internal process partners Must be able to create and deliver formal presentations in front of diverse and sometimes large groups including senior management levels at suppliers and internally Frequent travel to regional/global supply base locations and manufacturing divisions required Use computer and related software products to provide/review reports project schedules cost models and support normal administrative requirements
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or Engineering degree preferred MBA or additional studies in Supply Chain related fields desired
