The experienced Director of Case Management will assure that the hospital clinical resources are utilized in the most cost effective manner while improving Quality outcomes. The Director of Case Management will lead and coordinate key strategic development and functional services to support department objectives and organizational goals.
Manage departmental finances and fiscal issues, manage professional and clerical staff including day to day supervision employee relations and staff development. Maintain effective and responsive relationships with patients attending medical staff and other departments. The Director of Case Management will lead and direct 5 case managers 5 social workers and one support personnel.
Requirements: 5 years of progressive clinical experience in management or case management and nursing. CCM certification or HQUR (Healthcare Quality of Utilization Review) highly preferred. Excellent statistical analytical and interpersonal skills and proven leadership and the ability to communicate with persuasion clarity integrity and openness.
• EDUCATION: Valid State RN License or eligible required Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required and Masters degree in healthcare related field preferred
