Electro/Mechanical Controls Technician to process package and ship products. Position reports to the Department Manager and has other Electro/Mechanical Controls Technicians as peers. Will work with Operations Team Leaders Shift Team leaders Senior Support Technicians and Line Operators.
Position requires attention to safety awareness and promoting a safe work environment Knowledge of quality systems - how and when quality is measured Provide daily technical support for production areas Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical processes Identify reoccurring problems and initiate solutions Participate in daily operations team-meetings
Must take ownership of production lines with area team leader and line leaders Provide occasional assistance with equipment installation and start-up.
Requirements: * Control Programming *Good understanding of Industrial electricity: (journeyman electrician) 3 phase power contactor motor starters overloads fuse blocks relays low voltage control circuits * Knowledge of AC drives installation and setup. * Knowledge of DC servo-drives (programming)
Ability to adjust and replace and/or repair mechanical drive components Ability to adjust and replace chain & sprockets pulleys bearings gearboxes Ability to troubleshoot replace and/or repair solenoids cylinders and pneumatic/vacuum systems Welding / fabrication. Food process and/or high-speed consumer goods manufacturing experience (dry mix and pack) cartons, floor level projects Providing project notes and updates to supervisor.
