Business Systems Analyst partner with business analysts to provide solutions for the global HR processes within the MDM environment and integrated applications and work with developers to translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
Support of e-HR Master Data Management (MDM) system and its integrations to other applications and provides systems analysis application architecture and design using Master Data Management (MDM) application suite custom built using Siperians MDM technology. The individual must maintain system integrity by following proper validation procedures in terms of documenting requirements designs and thorough testing procedures.
This includes unit integration and regression testing of HR MDM and integrated components. This position requires strong organizational skills and a knowledge of HR business processes such as Personnel and/or Payroll Administration. Must be able to communicate effectively and have a minimum of 5 years of systems and business experience. Candidate should be self-motivating and able to work independently.
Provide HR MDM application knowledge and expertise to translate functional requirements into system requirements technical designs and solutions. Must possess and/or develop expertise in global HR functional processes and apply knowledge of MDM application suite in support of the e-HR technology functional team.
Partners with the HR business analysts to write the system requirements specifications (SRS) and the corresponding test scripts. The position requires working with other systems analysts and/or at times requires leading in managing relationships with HR customers in a consulting role and providing a single point of contact from the IT organization.
Uses the approved support methodology to ensure all assigned problem and change tickets are resolved timely and works with consulting vendor and other development teams to resolve problems. Provides appropriate documentation and maintains system integrity by following SDLC development methodology proper validation testing and documentation to meet support requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree with strong technical background and a minimum of five years in systems analysis web application data modeling and development. Hands-on experience of standard IT software (SDLC) development methodologies and documentation practices STRONG Experience in designing applications define logical process flows and system/solution architectures.
Experience with HR master data Experience with the Siperian Master Data Management application Hands-on experience of standard IT software (SDLC) development methodologies Knowledge of two or three tier application design web based database applications using J2EE framework. Knowledge of Application Servers preferably IBM Websphere Knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle) SQL PL-SQL etc Knowledge of Application Integrations using flat files ODBC JDBC etc. Knowledge of web technologies including XML HTML Protocols and security models Knowledge of Windows and Unix Operating systems and shell languages. Knowledge of human resource processes and applications. Experience with the Siperian Master Data Management application. PMI and/or Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
