.Manage newsletter creation and production that drives consistent positive public relations that ensure the promotion of significant events Collaborate with the research and production team to create powerful events, lead from the front with sales and to inspire others, the development and execution of corporate conferences events and the creation and maintenance of a virtual community of current and potential clients.
• Work with a team of professionals in the business world from a wide range of cultural educational and geographic backgrounds and are able to work in a dynamic and professional environment that values each person’s perspective. • Execute conferences and events including site selection/negotiation manage budget secure speakers coordinate mailings develop agenda etc. • Managing events that are industry (consulting) specific and topical to shared services outsourcing and off-shoring. • Have Profit and Loss responsibility and the ability to generate and manage 10 - 15 traditional events annually. • Create and administer a virtual community of key customers and prospects built around key industry topics by coordinating web resources for existing and past clients in order to promote and ensure current and most recent services good will long term references and future new business is understood. • Collaborate with internal leaders vendors and company partners to accomplish strategic communication goals. • Create and Implement Best Practices and Policies.
REQUIREMENTS: • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation Certified Event Planner (CEP) designation or Registered Meeting Planner (RMP) designation. • Minimum of 3 years with a demonstrated success record in managing conferences and high level meetings and events • Minimum of 3 years with a proven ability to manage complex projects to meet goals within budget and on time. • Minimum of 3 years with a proven track record of building a team and being profitable. • Minimum of 3 years where you had to create and administer a virtual community of key customers and prospects built around key industry topics.
• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Marketing or Business.
