Establish relationships with key thought leaders in the field developing centers of excellence and champions around the US and maintaining relationships with sales representatives and management. Create market specifications and give continuous feedback to their Research and Development organizations worldwide supporting headquarters in developing global strategic plans.
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily R&D, and Product Marketing) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
Develop and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. Manage profit and loss responsibilities for assigned portfolio. Define the solution/product strategy, product backlog and solution /product roadmap and communicate them internally and externally.
Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification. Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. Be a subject matter expert with respect to the solutions portfolio.
Requirements: A college degree preferably an MBA is required. Previous experience in the medical device industry and experience in product marketing management along with strong verbal and written communication skills are also necessary. Sales experience is a plus.
5 years of marketing experience in the medical device industry. Experience successfully launching and managing products as well as some tenure with strategic upstream marketing activities and planning. A strong disciplined structured well-organized person with high attention to detail will land this role.
