Sets and defines overall Project Management procedures and continuous improvement processes for implementation and execution of projects both technically and financially. Ensure project technical integrity and quality. Coordinate with Project Manager and GBU representative ongoing project close-out and customer issues. Conduct employee evaluations objectives development hiring and terminations.
Assign Project Manager and Project Team to initialize start of project. Determines manpower requirements of the Project Engineering Team to adequately execute the design procurement fabrication completion start-up and close-out. Hold status review meetings with Project Managers to review actual versus budgeted cost schedule and technical issues on each project. Coordinate with the Manager of Integrated Projects to coordinate field management and on-site field supervision for turnkey projects.
Facilitate good communications between departments involved with the projects. Forecast and plan activities both long and medium term. Provide all updates and reports as required by the Company. Report to upper management on project status and financials. Coordinate project close-out reviews with the Project Manager.
Requirements: - Ten years experience in leading and managing teams and project management. - Must have working knowledge of facility and process design and construction of gas processing and treating plants. - Must have excellent ability to communicate with company personnel and clients. - Must have effective management and project management skills. - Ability to analyze and solve complex projects, multi-tasking and task prioritization.
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
