Work with Product Managers to identify source and sell competitive products. Assist branch personnel with issues at OEM accounts as needed. Work with vendors to apply and sell products as necessary.
Oversees the development of OEM business will call on OEM accounts to develop new business will report on key customer and competitor information (sources competition pricing miscellaneous) via customer call reports and periodic status reports.
Requirements: • Must possess good mechanical/engineering aptitude. • Must have a minimum of ten years of direct outside sales experience. • Experience developing OEM accounts through the design and application of mechanical electrical and/or fluid power products is required. • Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) forecasting and key account development is all essential. Requires a fairly well developed level of decision making skill. • Must be experienced in working with OEM purchasing design and process engineering and materials planning personnel. • Accurately assess business and product application problems and recommend/execute solutions accordingly.
• EDUCATION: Bachelors degree preferred.
