The Structural Engineering Supervisor will also be responsible for coordinating and scheduling of all tasks with in-house resources or subcontract resources. Must also be able to carry out l structural engineering tasks such as determining structural integrity of the equipment and compliance with applicable codes for various loading (pressure gravity thermal wind seismic) foundation load calculations and inter-connecting piping stress analysis.
Review structural requirements for each job to define scope and determine resource requirements. Determine resource availability. Determining appropriate design practices and requirements. Evaluate and maintain appropriate staffing levels. Main schedules and work status as required. Develop drafting guidelines as appropriate.
Provide monthly drafting hours forecasts to appropriate engineering and accounting personnel. Conduct employee performance reviews as required. Maintain adherence to company policies and safety standards. Assist in the development of an annual budget. Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Manager of Project Engineering.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in a related industry which includes expertise in welded structural steel design steel plate design and pressure vessel design. Understanding of Finite Element and Dynamic Analysis for structures material behavior and stress strain relations at high temperature. Thorough knowledge of AISC ASD and LRFD Codes and understanding of ASME Code.

• EDUCATION: BS Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) or related degree.
