As directed by the Regional Sales Manager work with the Laboratory Account Executive as a member of the local account team to implement business strategies. Will call on Obstetrician/Gyn practices and physicians within an assigned territory to provide the physician with complete information pertaining to assigned product line in a manner that will ensure the appropriate use of these products and provide sales and marketing feedback to customer and management. • Invest the time and the effort to achieve the established goals for the territory such as sales quotas market share product evaluations etc. • Represent company at local regional and national meetings and conventions as required. • Plan and organize daily sales call activities to optimize the use of time and maximize the achievement of sales and market share objectives . • Maintain timely and relevant communication with the Regional Sales Manager and other members of the local account team. Effectively communicate competitive information and market information on a timely basis. • Manage territory expenses within guidelines
Requirements: • 3 to 5 years of pharmaceutical / medical / physician sales . • Comprehensive knowledge of current U.S. healthcare trends that can be integrated into territory sales strategies . • Ability to read analyze and interpret documents such package inserts professional journals technical procedures and government regulations. • Computer proficiency is required including skills with the use of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint. . • Self-driven and accountable will be required to jump in diagnose the issue and solve the problem
