Monitor regulatory and tax law changes that impact Company financial and tax reporting. Assist in the preparation of separate and consolidated federal income tax returns and multi-state income/franchise tax returns.

This individual will also assist in the preparation of various informational returns gather information related to federal and state tax audits and prepare various quarterly tax filings. Assist in the preparation of book tax provisions and disclosures required for financial reporting under FAS 109. The incumbent is responsible for working with the Director of Income Tax.


* Assist in preparation of separate and consolidated federal income tax returns and multi-state income and franchise tax returns. 
* Complete estimated tax payment calculations and coordinate submission of payments to taxing authorities.
* Complete annual reports registrations information returns city and county tax returns and other non-income tax returns.
* Prepare state apportionment workpapers for separate-filing and combined-filing states.
* Prepare monthly analysis of tax accounts.
* Prepare and record journal entries for income and franchise tax accruals payments and refunds and other tax items, assist in providing necessary information requested during tax audits and provide support in the development of tax policies and positions.

Requirements
* Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
* 2-4 years experience in preparation of corporate federal and state income tax returns.
* Strong foundation in general accounting principles.
* Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
