Responsible for all Human Resources activities across the facility as it relates to recruiting, selection/hiring, employee relations, salary planning, training/development, benefits administration, and all other related activities necessary to ensure an effective, productive and motivated workforce. Act as employee advocate on issues/concerns to management and leadership team.
The Human Resources Manager walk the shop floor to administer human resources to hourly and salaried employees. Provides assistance to all employees including managers/supervisors on coaching, mentoring, training corrective action, performance management, rewards and amp recognition, etc. Counsel management and employees as required and takes the necessary steps to see that problems are resolved or channeled to management for proper and timely resolution.
Serve as a strategic business partner who will contribute to business decisions and strategy to drive profitability and value. This includes implementing strategies into HR priorities while ensuring the facility complies with all applicable laws. Drive the implementation of standard process throughout all HR functions.
Requirements: Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment. Able to effectively maneuver in a fast paced environment. Five plus years of progressive Human Resources experience. Must have experience working in a non union environment and can speak to their union avoidance strategies/experience Strong employee relations experience and hands on approach comfortable out on the shop floor interacting with hourly employees.
Demonstrated ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with manager, supervision, and employees.

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively interact with all levels within the organization. Continuous improvement mindset and process focused to maximize efficiencies. • EDUCATION: BS or BA in Human Resources, Management or related curriculum required. MS/LIR or advanced degree highly preferred.
