Provide operational management and support at various service center locations to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery handling of customer materials and shipments. Ensure compliance with safety security regulatory and company policies.
Tasks and accountabilities provide customer service sales and operational support for the Service Center, answer phone and greets visitors. Resolve billing problems in relation to the Service Center. Researched shipment tracking requests and provides feedback - attempts to resolve misplaced shipments. Communicate with Sales/Service to resolve customer problems.
Assist with operational procedures including sorting loading/unloading activities shipment processing and documentation manifesting bagging sending shipment status information and accepting/securing over-the-counter payments. Dispatch pick-up and delivery information in a timely and efficient manner - arranges daily pick-up schedules. May process or prepare import/export documentation and assist in the customs clearance process in some markets.
Requirements: Experience in service, production or support roles - Perform all of the standard and some specialized more complex aspects of the function. - Certification or Associate degree may be required in some areas. -2-4 years of experience in related area of responsibility.
